AIPP Manual

SMT is a group self-funded workers’ compensation Trust. As such, SMT members are required to maintain an up-to-date Accident & Illness Prevention Program (AIPP) Manual as per Chapter 129, Subchapter D of the PA Workers’ Compensation Act.

SMT’s AIPP manual template is designed to assist SMT members with documenting their organization’s AIPP procedures in compliance with the PA Workers’ Compensation Act. The AIPP manual template is designed for members to customize it to their organization’s unique considerations.

Per industry best practices, an AIPP manual should be reviewed and updated at least every three years.

SMT Safety Grant Application

The Susquehanna Municipal Trust (SMT) Safety Grant Program provides financial incentives to members wanting to purchase materials, equipment, or items to help improve employee safety and reduce the frequency and severity of workers’ compensation claims.

Risk Mgt. Report Card

Members of SMT, a group self-funded insurance program, share risk and collaborate successful workplace safety & loss control efforts for the benefit of all in the program.

The SMT Risk Management Report Card, prepared annually for each SMT Member, provides a snapshot of that municipal entity’s risk control performance from the previous policy year.

The Risk Management Report Card presents 10 areas of workers’ compensation industry accepted standards for workplace safety & risk control.

Annual safety awards are presented to SMT Members with the highest scores on the annual Risk Management Report Card. Awards are presented at the SMT Annual Membership Plan Committee Meeting.
